Christmas Celebration

Today's Christmas festivities were pretty exciting from beginning to end.
I can say that I didn't want to receive any presents this year, because I got my parents and brother gifts, but I'm still kind of happy inside that I got a chance to open gifts.

As soon as I woke up, I was extremely busy.
I was stressed out from the beginning because Buddy told me she couldn't deliver my camera
to me. That was just one factor adding to my stress, not to mention that I still had to cook and wrap more presents. The guests were expected to arrive at around 5, and I slept in cause I was wrapping even MORE presents at like 3-4am. Boy, my family sure is spoiled this year.. LOL

I'm dead break now, but its worth it to see the look on their faces when they saw the stuff I got them.. I texted Janet saying that I needed to get a ride to Cupertino right away, but she said she'd be home at 7 which was way too late for me. If you guys were wondering why I haven't been posting as frequently as I used to, its also because I like having visuals to my entries, which make things more bearable and interesting for those who actually sit and read this stuff, haha.

In an act of desperation, I asked my dad if I can get a ride there, and luckily he was finished with enough cooking to drive me. My dad isn't usually the type to talk when driving[maybe cause he's focusing or idk] but he talked a lot to me today in the car, which was good. Sucks to know that some people have the hardest time talking to their parents rather than everyone else..

Got lost inside the apartments, went to like 4 different gyms/pool areas, until at the last second buddy finally calls me, and we exchange presents.. my gift for my camera, lols.
Came home, ate doughnut holes, downloaded Dungeon Fighter Online[IGN: Eidao/Eigen] for a few hours, came out when people were starting to arrive..
Ate roast beef, mashed potatos, macaroni salad, and corn, doesn't seem like much but that steak is THICK. Probably ate like 4lbs of beef on my own, lol..

Didn't open a lot of gifts this year because I wanted to give since I'm old enough to actually start getting stuff for people now, ya dig? I didn't want to wait for my parents to open them later, so I made them open my gifts now. I got my dad a limited edition Eddie Bauer tee and cashmere muffler, my mom a set of cashmere scarves and tons of bath & body work lotion/soaps, and my brother cotton gloves with some DS games inside of the mittens[Drawn To Life: Next Chapter, Mario & Luigi].

It feels better giving than receiving to be honest, cause that look on their face is something you can't beat, knowing that its something that they'll look great in/use a lot..

Hahaha, I'm too soft.

Heres some -overexposed- recap pics, taken by my uncle for the night:

On a side note, I'm really glad someone decided to greet me merry christmas,
I didn't want anything today but for them to contact me again.

...Thanks a lot. You made christmas this year really what its meant to be: Something
thats to be shared with people you care about, whether its friends family and everything in between, its no good if you don't spend it with someone who means something to you.

Even if you weren't physically here, I still felt like you were by my side, even for just a little bit.
Praise God for being such a gracious giver to us all. He gave us all someone to spend togethertime with!

Don't forget about the true meaning of christmas guys, its not about the material things..
Its about together time, time you need to cherish cause you never know when the next time you'll be able to have something like that is [well, other than next christmas lol]. Who cares if theres not as many presents under the tree? That just means you have to put more thought into the present, and more time to be close..

More recap later on today, when I go to my dad's side of the family to celebrate..

be chill, happy holidays
