Saturday Recap

Bonfire today. Left at around 2 to pick up Stephen and Lenlen to go to the church.
Drove with Kuya Bryan in the car with Stephen and Henry, freestyling the whole way to SF.
As we first got there to Ocean Beach, we were just starting to set up the blankets and volleyball net,
all of Pittsburgh/DBC came in. We played football, lost 3-5, cause they got college kids on their team, lol..

After the football game, it was time to begin the real reason why we all came.
The main goal today was to evangelize and try to spread the word out as much as possible.

It was already getting dark by the time we started..

The tracks we gave out.

In actuality, my group[Ivy, Lenlen, Ate Millie, Me, Krystle] split off, so I just went by myself with Krystle. :o) Altogether we had 12 tracks, so that meant at least 12 people would hear the word..All we had to do was introduce ourselves, offer a track, and walk off politely..

The first guy we saw was walking on the beach by himself, with a cigarette in one hand and a bottle of wine in another. Krystle made the first move "hi, we'd like to give you this track.."
and it just kicked off from there, 1 down. He was a believer also, so no really need for much except to pray for him. word.

The second group was a bunch of skater boys from the area took ours right away.

The third group was a bunch of guys with Sam Adams, Heinekens, Grey Goose, you name it, all on the beach..they had their fire pit going, and we just went up to them trying to be friendly, we all gave them each tracks, and it was apparently one of the dude's 18th birthday! Happy birthday Alex.

It was already dark when we were about halfway through..
We came up to this guy who was sitting by himself, Krystle offered him a track, he looks at it,
he hands it back to her, calling her a Protestant and a heretic, all that stuff..
It didn't phase us though. We just kept walking cause we knew what we needed to do..

Met some tall Russian dudes who came to Ocean Beach to swim at NIGHT,
They were believers, tight tight..Bayside/Bayview? church in Sacramento, if anyones from there. Hit em up.

We also gave a track to some indian lady who talked about Krystle's mole on her cheek and how if she was planning to become a businesswoman, she would have a very successful future.

The last group of guys were this gay couple, Eric and Tony. They came from Ohio, and they came here to Cali cause the minimum wage over there sucks, and cause they got like 12 roommates? Dang. Gave them tracks, nice guys, hope you guys are successful in w/e you do.

The fire was going, and me and Krystle were the last ones to come back.
The singing and all the fun was already cracking.
Soon after, Kuya Ricky interrupts.. "Is Jeff Bautista here?" and so I walk around the group,
come up to him. A guy from the third group, Angel, came up to our firepit. "You're more than welcome to join us," was an offer sent out to everyone, but he was the only one that came out.
He says he read the track and thought about it, and was asking us if there were more of them so he could give it to his WHOLE group.

Angel accepted that day, welcome to the fam.
I felt uplifted and happy, cause I know that despite being rejected and nobody taking us seriously, someone actually did and his life is gonna get turned around cause of that.
Bless you Angel Ochoa! I hope you and your other SF/Bay friends can hit us up sometime..

I think this is one of my longest posts ever, but its worth it.
If only you were there with me to imagine how amazing it felt.

i'm corny and cheesed out to the max, but w/e.
be chill God bless
