Saturday Recap

Bonfire today. Left at around 2 to pick up Stephen and Lenlen to go to the church.
Drove with Kuya Bryan in the car with Stephen and Henry, freestyling the whole way to SF.
As we first got there to Ocean Beach, we were just starting to set up the blankets and volleyball net,
all of Pittsburgh/DBC came in. We played football, lost 3-5, cause they got college kids on their team, lol..

After the football game, it was time to begin the real reason why we all came.
The main goal today was to evangelize and try to spread the word out as much as possible.

It was already getting dark by the time we started..

The tracks we gave out.

In actuality, my group[Ivy, Lenlen, Ate Millie, Me, Krystle] split off, so I just went by myself with Krystle. :o) Altogether we had 12 tracks, so that meant at least 12 people would hear the word..All we had to do was introduce ourselves, offer a track, and walk off politely..

The first guy we saw was walking on the beach by himself, with a cigarette in one hand and a bottle of wine in another. Krystle made the first move "hi, we'd like to give you this track.."
and it just kicked off from there, 1 down. He was a believer also, so no really need for much except to pray for him. word.

The second group was a bunch of skater boys from the area took ours right away.

The third group was a bunch of guys with Sam Adams, Heinekens, Grey Goose, you name it, all on the beach..they had their fire pit going, and we just went up to them trying to be friendly, we all gave them each tracks, and it was apparently one of the dude's 18th birthday! Happy birthday Alex.

It was already dark when we were about halfway through..
We came up to this guy who was sitting by himself, Krystle offered him a track, he looks at it,
he hands it back to her, calling her a Protestant and a heretic, all that stuff..
It didn't phase us though. We just kept walking cause we knew what we needed to do..

Met some tall Russian dudes who came to Ocean Beach to swim at NIGHT,
They were believers, tight tight..Bayside/Bayview? church in Sacramento, if anyones from there. Hit em up.

We also gave a track to some indian lady who talked about Krystle's mole on her cheek and how if she was planning to become a businesswoman, she would have a very successful future.

The last group of guys were this gay couple, Eric and Tony. They came from Ohio, and they came here to Cali cause the minimum wage over there sucks, and cause they got like 12 roommates? Dang. Gave them tracks, nice guys, hope you guys are successful in w/e you do.

The fire was going, and me and Krystle were the last ones to come back.
The singing and all the fun was already cracking.
Soon after, Kuya Ricky interrupts.. "Is Jeff Bautista here?" and so I walk around the group,
come up to him. A guy from the third group, Angel, came up to our firepit. "You're more than welcome to join us," was an offer sent out to everyone, but he was the only one that came out.
He says he read the track and thought about it, and was asking us if there were more of them so he could give it to his WHOLE group.

Angel accepted that day, welcome to the fam.
I felt uplifted and happy, cause I know that despite being rejected and nobody taking us seriously, someone actually did and his life is gonna get turned around cause of that.
Bless you Angel Ochoa! I hope you and your other SF/Bay friends can hit us up sometime..

I think this is one of my longest posts ever, but its worth it.
If only you were there with me to imagine how amazing it felt.

i'm corny and cheesed out to the max, but w/e.

9/15/09

Average day, nothing really big to talk about.
Had random thoughts going through my head all day.

School was aite, nothing special.
Only thing of interest was my application to go to Walden West as a Cabin Leader.
Haven't been there in 6 years, and boy those were the best years of my life back then.
A little chubby, but it didn't really matter to nobody back then..

Maybe it'll be different this time, lol..being in the other side of the campsite.
A lot of people[through my convincing skills lol] decided to sign up w/me on the week of October 5-10. Fun stuff, hopefully my parents will let me go..or it'll just be added onto the list of camps I couldn't go to..

Planned out my meetup for wtaps, hopefully gonna get them sometime next week, meetup at that new Pinkberry that opened up.

Still waiting on my new Flatheads, boy I'm excited..hopefully these ones fking fit me.
Tired of wearing cargos, lol. IDC if its, I'll wear those jawnz out till I bleed indigo!!1!!1one

Make a list of camera things I seriously want by the end of the year[impossible, but wtheck]:
-Sigma 50mm f/1.4
-Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8
-Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6 VR
-Another SB-800
-Radio Popper Transmitter
-Radio Popper Receivers x3

My mom found an old mug of me and her and my dad, looks practically brand new..its been taken good care of for 14 years..."27 Feb, '95"
Makes me think back on a lotta things..

I'm sore as hell.

At least Annie + everyone else will now be able to share the struggle with me..lol..

woo

Today was a good day.
Woke up, ate some good breakfast,
came to class on time.
Art was chill, kinda sleepy but s'all good..
We're starting on "illuminated manuscripts",
and I got assigned to do the word "Festive"..how will I do that? You're just gonna have to find out.

-Ms.Santos class was aite, dude I feel hella dumb in that class, lmao..
I'm the only one w/o a book still, long lines ftl..
-AP Lit was crackin, haha I was in the fishbowl discussion w/some classmates
discussing about Jack London's "To Build a Fire". Crazy book, very sad.
-Spanish was fun, got to draw vocab words on a plastic sleeve to practice, ect ect;
-APUSH we learned about post Revolutionary war stuff, building a government better than England blahblah
-Psych was interesting, talked about our upcoming projects[mine will be a research on different groups of friends, and how each group needs a certain person, ect]

Enough about school.

WDYWT.

After school, dressed down to go out to eat at Sizzler's for my dad's 50th birthday, happy birthday dad!

After going home from Sizzlers, I realized how many overweight people were inside there, even looking at the tacos, the beef was dripping with orange-red oil..disgusting. Good thing all I had was shrimp and clam chowder, yumz!

Dropped my Ninang off at the rich houses all the way up in the Villages and stuff, waaayy up there, I could see all of San Jose from there! I even saw Highway 101, thats how high it was. Pics will be provided next time, sorry lol

I think the biggest thing I did today was start my REAL journey of P90X. I dogged it and didn't take it seriously and ended up quitting halfway through phase 1 cause I was so lazy. That won't be me anymore. I looked at myself in the mirror and said I wanted to make changes happen.
I want to feel and look great, be more confident, get in the best shape of my life, and hopefully motivate my family to take the same route as me.

It won't be easy, but for the next 89 more days, I'll be sweating like a dog in a heating vent, gasping for air and chugging down water like a drain pipe, but you know what? It'll be worth it..

Decided to go with P90X: Lean mode, cause Classic and Doubles are too much for me right now, and in the meantime I have to get prepared for track in the spring.

Watch over me guys, I'll make it..

till then, hw time;
God bless, be chill

Man.

It's only my 3rd day of being 16 and I feel like I've done a ton of growing up, on the real.
I've had tons of epiphanies over the last few days,
slowly realizing what I wanna be and why I wanna be it.

School is tough, but I gotta hang in there. Gotta get some serious work done if I
ever wanna be what I know I can be..

I found this video browsing on ISS called Chicken A Lacarte..

Birthday.

Haha, so I'm finally 16 right? Feels different, feels the same, maybe it doesn't feel like anything at all. Overall today I had a bunch of fun, all my classes were short but they were good. Didn't really get into much trouble and stuff, a good thing lmao; Shipped out my jeans + money order today, FINALLY I'll get a pair that can fit me.

Hopefully, I'll get them within this week and have a fit pic, they'll be my jeans for the year.
I was thinking that nobody was gonna really remember my birthday, but I was surprised
at how many people really did remember. Even people I didn't even talk to anymore remembered, so I'm grateful. Hahah, I guess people just remembered cause it was 999, ooo00h00h, lucky number.

Happy birthday to my Ate Kleen and twin sister, Janine.
WE'RE ALL GETTING OLDER, );

Thank you all who greeted me happy birthday, I feel definitely more mature and older since I turned 15 last year. I'm still a youngin, but now is the time to start being a lot more serious than I used to be. No more slack room. AP Courses will eat me alive if I don't keep up with them.

Oh yes. J is for Jeff.

We talked a lot tonight, didn't we? I'm glad we did! I feel closer to you despite what happened.
I hope you can understand I still want things to work out :3
