Recap of My Weekend.

Wed/Thurs Blog

Cause I was too tired from yesterday to do one.
Small post for today.
Our school faced against Leland, Leigh, and Silver Creek.
I thought it was going to be difficult[for me at least],
but it turns out we were doing pretty good.

Overall,we won all 3 I think,
and I'm guessing after Top 8 we're going to be #1 in CCS?

Cool beans.

Angelica's birthday party today.
Hopefully she likes the present..

Today was a pretty decent day, better than yesterday,
but something felt off about today.
The heat? I'm still dealing,

but thank God that it is finally gonna get some coolness in here..
if you can call it coolness that is.
Monday and today, mid 90s.
Tomorrow hopefully if weather.com is still accurate, low 80s.

Track Quad-Meet at home. Silver Creek, Leland, and Lee.
Ain't tripping, it's our home turf. We got this.
We all gotta try our best though because we won't know who they're coming up with.

Didn't go to track practice today unfortunately,
because I had to talk with Mr.Mohammad about stuff,
and cause of a speech gave to us by Ate RA and the other main officers.

She held an emergency meeting for us, I knew it was bad, but I didn't think it was
that bad until I actually heard it myself, with all the old tribes 08 participants, and new freshman faces.

"I am so disappointed in you guys. If we're going to still be in this, I want us to go out there and take 1st place. If we don't, then I'm not even sure if I want to do this anymore" - Ate RA

I started getting heated by this point. I didn't want to point fingers, and be a hypocrite for not showing up to practices either, but the words that I heard were just pumping me up to just get up and start learning dances and skit plot right now. Kababayan is known as EV's most unified club. We need to show them that wasn't just a one or two or three time thing. It's got to be a LEGACY.

Believe me or not, I want to be more than just a participant in the future years of this club.
To be honest.. I want to help run it. I want to be part of what makes this club so unified and so great. I have ambition, and although I admit I'm not the most 100% perfect attendance, perfect showmanship, perfect leadership type of skills, I'm willing to work very hard because of all the dedication this club has shown me. I want to be President of Kababayan Club. Not just for the title, not for status, but because I feel like I owe it to everyone else to start stepping up and making the other schools know we ARE a FAMILY, not just a club. I want to be the next Kuya Michael, next Ate RA. I am just so serious about it.

Isang Bagsak. Do work. Family.
All things we shout at ends of practice,
all things we live outside of practice.
And I couldn't be more happier with that.

Hell, I wanted to just go in a beater, but the
school would probably give me a citation or something -_-;

Celtics vs Bulls game. Amazing. Word to Ray Allen for making the winning 3 pointer.
Couldnt get to watch the whole Spurs vs Mavs game but I'm sure it was cool too.

Track meet on Wednesday. Quad meet baby, Leland vs Lee vs Silver Creek.
I gotta PR PR PR PR. I hit 15.9ft last time on long, cleared 5' on high. I gotta go farther.

I gotta Julius Caesar play to do tomorrow.

I am currently satisfied.
I am not too happy, but I am not as depressing as I was before.
Shoot, this spring break I've been getting progressively more and more happy with myself.

I learned to take things more on the chill side, and just go with the flow.
I have always known how to have fun, but lately i've been having FUN.
Party after party, picnic after hangout after Denny's after movie night,

it's been chill. I need to have more days like this in the summer.
to you, I'm sorry that I haven't been the most easiest person in the world to deal with.
You ask things of me, and I'm sorry that I don't give them to you the way you want it.
if this is any different, here it is. I'm mentioning you in my blog, aren't I?

You make me happy and I like the way things are right now. Thank you
for making my spring break, truly a spring break.

book for you and your boyfriend. This, by far, is one of the
most well thought-out and non cliche things I've seen
given to a significant other...ever!

Looking at those pictures make me think about how lucky I am to have someone like that, and quite honestly I feel happy that we at least some sort of relationship together. Friends, more than friends, boy and girlfriend, whatever we may be in the future I'm alright with it. Talking everyday, it's nice.

I don't want to get too attached, but hey. Enough of that, can we just enjoy where we are now? hahah.

I signed up for FSF today. Sh*t was confusing. All of my posts were being "held for moderation", wtf like the Mods on FSF have enough time to read every single FSFers posts? Probably a bug..the ISSers told me that there was a lot of them anyways. It's just a temporary thing, only when I have nothing to do on ISS.

Today was Jerrel's party. Happy 12th boy. My little sister went to Kenya Dance. Hate you Erin.

Update.

New look, new day.
It feels right to be starting fresh, this time..

I've been meaning to get to it.
Lately shes been helping me through some things
and idk, I felt like we're getting to know each other better? LOL
Anyways..

Rules: Once you’ve been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it’s because I want to know more about you.

1. Everyone has gone through certain "phases" in their life, such as a geeky phase, ect... For me, although I am who I am today[random as hell], I still retain bits all of my phases throughout my childhood and middle school years: My gamer side, anime/k-drama obsessed side, preppy side[American Eagle, Abercrombie, ect], fatass side[LOVE to eat], rock side[Anberlin, Dance Gavin Dance, Cartel just to name random bands], and even a bit of a feminine side[sanrio. LOL.] Though I don't heavily focus on one particular side at one given time, it helps me in being the people person I am today.

2. My last name is Bautista. This is referred to by many as the "Nguyen of the Philippines" by my dad, because it is a very common last name back in the PI. A lot of famous singers [Mark Bautista, Justin Bautista, ect] from the PI, even the WWE's very own Bautista. LOL. Despite the claim, I haven't met that many other Bautistas in my life time, other than my relatives and maybe 3 or 4 other people..ever. My middle name is Allen...

3. If its my first time trying something new, I'll try my best to do it over and over again until I can do it at least decent. I am very OCD about that, and one of my biggest pet peeves is not being good at something that I do a lot.

4. I get mistaken for every other asian ethnicity, but I am 100% full filipino. Lately, I've been getting dark which I thought would help identify me easier, but instead of Chinese, Japanese, Viet... people start thinking I'm Cambodian, Thai, HAWAIIAN?! -__- My parents are both Tagalog, and as well as my grandparents, although I have friends who are helping me try to understand Ilocano.

5. Music has always been one of my favorite getaways from the world. From as far back as I could remember, I would playback songs I love over and over again. From my childhood, I remember the first CD I personally owned was the Pokemon: The First Movie soundtrack. I would listen the remix to the theme constantly, because it would get me pumped to do whatever I had to do during the day.

6. Going back to 5, I taught myself how to play guitar in the 7th grade when my parents bought me a guitar for Christmas. Learning from a chord book was never my style, but when I started learning tabs on ultimate-guitar.com to my favorite songs, I got on a learning streak and now can successfully play by ear and familiar sounding notes.

7. Although I have only one true brother, I've come to accept that I have many other "siblings", all of which are sisters. My older "sister", Jennika Esoy has been so good to me and makes me remember that I have someone to go to. (: My younger "sister", Erin Bautista. You know, if I wanted to she really could pass for my real little sister. But she's too mean. Still, I can't live without her. Love you both.

8. I over explain things too much. Which is probably why these facts are so long.

9. I am a huge Pokemon fan. I have every Version from Red/Blue, to Platinum today. When I met my two friends Tony and Stuart in the 5th grade, we made an agreement to stay under one starter pokemon type no matter what. Tony would be fire, Stuart would be grass. I was water, and from that point I became familiar with Squirtle, Totidile, Mudkip, and Piplup.

10. I used to be very chubby and almost to the point where I can say I was obese as a child. But, as I reached 5th grade I started to really become self conscious and pushed myself to eating less and exercising. I have lost all the baby fat[hopefully!] and I'm glad that I decided to make that choice. I am currently helping my little brother who is going through the same thing I went through x10[damn you yogos and hot cheetos]

11. Raised in a Christian home. Before I turned 7-8, my parents were Catholic. All I remember from those days were laying on my mom's lap trying to go to sleep cause it was so early in the morning, and waiting in a big line with my grandma and having to swallow a nasty piece of bread. As soon as we made the change, I knew I would enjoy it. Almost double the years later, my family and I are still attending Light Bearers Fellowship Church, formerly known as Fil-Am Baptist Church.

12. Most of my childhood was regretfully spent on N64 and PS1. It wasn't that bad then, but looking back I wish that I could've spent more time with my grandpa before he passed away. ILY Lolo Roger.

13. The feeling I have most often other than happiness, is guilt. It's a very bad feeling to have, especially when you know you can't do anything to fix it.

14. One of my main goals other than to be successful, have a family, ect. is a mere simple task: To make my parents proud of me. Seems easy, but despite their not that tough standards, I always seem to end up short. I want to be able to make them happy that they have me.

15. I'm always trying to do something new. Whether its learning a new language, trying to jerk [lol], or getting to know someone, I have to change up my daily routine.

16. I am very affectionate. Those who have known me a while know this very clearly. I have a need, even more so than eating or drinking, to give my affection and care to someone during the day. If I don't, then I can't say that I had a good day that day.

17. I have the ability to make most people feel like old friends around me, even if I've just met them for the first time. It really helps my social life, and no matter where I'm going, if theres people, I'm bound to make friends.

18. College Bound: My goals back then were to shoot for UCs such as Berkeley and LA, but due to my lack of effort, I've come to a conclusion that I want to shoot for something not as high such as SDSU. Back up plan? West Valley for 2 years, THEN transfer to UC Davis / UC San Diego :)

19. I'm not sure what I really want to do with my life yet. I love being outdoors and being active, but at the same time I want to be cozy and comfy inside. Possible careers I've thought of in the past include Wedding planner, Nature Photojournalist [Nat. Geo, Travel Channel, ect], Chef, Nurse, and College History Professor. These were all on choice and not by my parent's plans for me at all, although I'm pretty sure these would be jobs they want me to be in anyways.

20. I like someone. Things are difficult where they are right now because of distance, but I don't want to push it too far too soon. I want her to really see that I'm in this for the long run.

21. I hate the fact that people call me a hypebeast based on a shirt or a fk backpack I wear..hello? Everyones got one nowadays, I'm not that much different -_-; You probably only call me that because you have no real sense of style yourself. I am making an effort to become well liked and successful. I have friends to support me, but I want to be able to do it on my own when I have to.

22. I hate cocky people. Everyone has their faults and flaws, and trying to cover them up won't make them go away.

23. I sound different on the phone than I do in person. My voice tends to go really low on the phone for some reason, so I have to talk in a more nasally voice so people can hear me -_-

24. I am not into Huf because of the hype. I feel as though I have history with Huf through my cousins, because they have been wearing it and introduced it to me all the back to 2003. I've always liked the style of clothing and their hats, and I will keep being a fan and customer till I don't know when.

25. I want to be able to look back at this when I'm an adult, college done, family settled, and wonder if I'm still the same as I was back then..
